 Last month, my talented friend Solange from  YeeLeN SpiRiT DeSiGnS  hosted this awesome giveaway and guess what: I won ! :) First time when I had actually won a giveaway, imagine my surprise and excitement. Look at this little treasure she sent, all these beautiful colors and textures make me so happy. And those African beads look ancient, love them! These are no ordinary beads, I feel like I have to use them for something meaningful to do them justice. My Mom is visiting from Romania, so I am taking a break from jewelry making for a little while. I feel so blessed to have her here with me, even if only for a month. She always brings me the most beautiful little beads, gemstones, antique figurines, vintage findings, old books...all hand picked by her and by my sister, from the flea markets and the antique shops in Romania. I only took a few pictures before it started to rain...Charms that are already oxidized ~ yes, please! Save me the mess and the time. Interesting pattern on these, and they're so light...Polymers? Paper mache?! Pretty! Loving these batik bone beads. One can never have enough oxidized chain, it's impossible. Or warm colored beads. They go with everything. Wood, hand painted. The New Year is almost here ~ time for New Year's Resolutions....again! But how do I make sure that this time I will actually keep them? I need a plan. And a few good quotes for inspiration.
