Carolina :) ...rich green landscapes... ...untamed mountains... ...crystal veins within rocks... ...majestic forests... ...crimson clover fields... ...sweet wild onions, love them... ...gorgeous patterns in underground caverns... ...wild flowers... These would make gorgeous earrings. Wild Irises everywhere, my favorite flowers. Great inspiration for beads, love these shapes and colors.  "The Earth laughs in flowers." ~ Ralph W. Pretty Things

My Mom is visiting from Romania, so I am taking a break from jewelry making for a little while. I feel so blessed to have her here with me, even if only for a month. She always brings me the most beautiful little beads, gemstones, antique figurines, vintage findings, old books...all hand picked by her and by my sister, from the flea markets and the antique shops in Romania. I only took a few pictures before it started to rain...Charms that are already oxidized ~ yes, please! Save me the mess and the time. Interesting pattern on these, and they're so light...Polymers? Paper mache?! Pretty! Loving these batik bone beads. One can never have enough oxidized chain, it's impossible. Or warm colored beads. They go with everything. Wood, hand painted.
