Merry Christmas!

Image
“Christmas waves a magic wand over this world, and behold, everything is softer and more beautiful. ”  ―  Norman Vincent Peale “And when we give each other Christmas gifts in His name, let us remember that He has given us the sun and the moon and the stars, and the earth with its forests and mountains and oceans--and all that lives and move upon them. He has given us all green things and everything that blossoms and bears fruit and all that we quarrel about and all that we have misused--and to save us from our foolishness, from all our sins, He came down to earth and gave us Himself.”  ―  Sigrid Undset                                                             Merry Christmas!                                      ...

Oxygen Red

Image
A foggy morning you're back in the street and from nowhere a voice is bolstering you: "This is your life why waste it with memories of the past and the questions about tomorrow?" Ghost hate daylight so use the moment to leave them behind. Set before you is a blessing and a curse, Thoughts can heel you, thoughts can kill you. Words can save you, words can break you. Emotions may guide you or betray you. Oxygen blue is salvation, Oxygen red is poison. As you think, so shall you be! Don't eat the bread of the beast that have the evil eye. And remember the old Indian warning: that there's a good wolf and a bad wolf fighting for your Soul be careful which you feed. Don't let the air you breath become oxygen red. As sure as day follows night there must be a way out of this mess. Smile! It's not that bad. Without struggle, there can be no progress. Now is the right time for a new try to get on with life Th...

Inspiration for Today

Image
“If you're reading this... Congratulations, you're alive. If that's not something to smile about, then I don't know what is.”  ― Chad Sugg, Monsters Under Your Head Browsing museums online, chasing inspiration...I can't remember where I saved these pictures from, I didn't save the links because I had no intention of sharing them, but on second thought, how can I not share them?   I mean, just look at them...such artistry, such brilliance...enchanting! What else can one aspire to? It seemed so selfish keeping them hidden in my Inspiration folder...what if somebody needs to see them today ? I don't think I'm breaking any copyright laws since they're in a museum..? Anyone? If you happen to know something about them or if you have a link to the museum, please let me know and I'll post it. *Edit. Got it, from British Museum  HERE. So, if you needed some inspiration today, I hope you found it. :)  “And now here is m...

NEW STUFF!! Rustic Polymer

Image
I'm gonna start blogging more often because I always end up with a lot of stuff that I want to show you and then I get anxiety attacks cause I can't remember if I showed you everything I was planning to and then I have to go back and look through all my folders with jewelry pictures and because I'm not organized it gets very confusing. Whoa, that was a long sentence. *breathe* The photo above, even though a bit blurry, is one of my favorites. Why? Because it looks like a mess at first, but it's actually an organized mess if you look closely   and when you do, your eye discovers similar items close to each other just like in one of those fun hidden object games and starts pairing and categorizing everything until your mind concludes that the mystery mess is solved and organized . Now your eye can finally relax and enjoy all the artistic details because that's why you're here to see something pretty and not to listen to my ramblings, but dagnabbit, I should...

Faux Ancient Beads Technique

Image
Hi guys!!! :) I have sooo much stuff to show you and so little time, so just a quick post today before I go back to cooking and dusting and cleaning and all that fun that needs to be taken care of once in a while...Ah, my house is such a mess! An organised mess though. I know exactly where to find my supplies, my wires, it's very easy... ... they're everywhere! After every cleaning and re-organising my place, I feel lost! Everything disappears! Maybe I should start making a list, like an inventory of every item to remember where I put my stuff after cleaning. But as always, jewelry first ~ yay!! If I don't prioritize I won't get anything done at all. The guys above are vintage glass beads soldered on oxidised copper wire. Berry clusters, yum! Second pair, African terracotta beads and Carnelian. Love the swirls on the African beads, but still, they looked kinda simple for me, so I painted them with acrylics! Aren't they super pretty now? :)  The ...

Image
Hi guys!! :) My head pins have been a success so far, I am so excited!! I am very grateful for all your lovely comments & hearts on  Instagram  , here, on G+ , my super awesome family , they truly mean a lot , especially since this is my first time making head pins.  Thank you!!! “The world is full of magic things, patiently waiting for our senses to grow sharper.”  ―  W.B. Yeats   Iridescent glass beads caged in thin, rusty Copper wires + Tibetan Silver caps + solder blobs + more Copper wire + tons of oxidizing = MAGIC ! I want more of these! One more picture just because they're sooo cute!!! ...Okay, moving on! These have already sold to a very lovely Lady , along with two other sets! I'm really excited but now I'm nervous too because what if she doesn't like them when she sees them in person ? What if she saw the pictures and imagined them...different? I'm such a dummy when it comes to online business ...

Vintage Beauties

Image
Hi guys, how have you been? All is good, I hope! :) I'm really excited about this new pair of earrings, let me tell you a little bit about it: these adorable fish charms are articulate, very moveable and flexible, made of 14K gold, hallmarked. Where did I get them from? My Antique Lady! I did some research on them and found out that they were made circa 1900-1920s ~ 100 years old!?! They have two intact Red Ruby Round Cut Gems set as the eyes in a four prong setting and their price is about...$99 a piece, wow! Here for $99 , here for $360, this one is bigger, not so many details though.   Here's a similar fish for $798 (!!) 9K gold from 1890! How do they come up with these prices, I wonder..? $798 for a 9k gold fish from 1890, my fish are from 1900-1920, about 10 to 30 years younger, that would make them worth...well, it's art, I guess you could price it anywhere. Supply and demand. Just give me $200 for them and we're good. Kidding. Or not. W...
