Head Pins Adventure ~ Part Two!

Hi guys!! :) My head pins have been a success so far, I am so excited!! I am very grateful for all your lovely comments & hearts on Instagram , here, on G+, my super awesome family, they truly mean a lot, especially since this is my first time making head pins. Thank you!!!

  Iridescent glass beads caged in thin, rusty Copper wires + Tibetan Silver caps + solder blobs + more Copper wire + tons of oxidizing = MAGIC! I want more of these! One more picture just because they're sooo cute!!!


...Okay, moving on!


These have already sold to a very lovely Lady, along with two other sets! I'm really excited but now I'm nervous too because what if she doesn't like them when she sees them in person? What if she saw the pictures and imagined them...different?


I'm such a dummy when it comes to online business stuff. All these Online...bla bla for Dummies books have been written for me, it just says for Dummies instead of dummy so I won't feel bad.

" Sure, there are other dummies like you  out there, no worries..."...Yeah, right.

Anyway, Instagram does help, people are a lot more interactive there for some reason. And I love that!


Last set for today, it's way late again and I only have a few hours left to sleep. Again!! I'll post more pictures...on Instagram. Tomorrow.

    I'm always worried when I had an order, even for repeat customers. What if, etc ... It is a bit normal because we care about the others. :)

 I have been preparing a rustic bead soup for my friend Solange from  YeeLen Spirit Designs  and it's finally ready! My ingredients:  ~ Rustic polymer art beads ~ Every bead is one of a kind, I rarely make them in pairs because I love experimenting. ~ Metal findings ~ A pair of metal elements from a vintage Native American belt, a vintage kuchi pendant, a set of fancy ear wires, hammered copper components, rhinestone spacers, religious art findings. ~ Yellow african glass beads, coral bead, two artisan ceramic beads from N. Carolina, that I've painted with alcohol inks. ~ More African glass beads, two small green trade beads, purple beans (!!), Lapis lazuli, long wooden  organic beads, african terracotta beads, vintage white and blue flowers ceramic beads, bone beads and some tribal bead caps.  That's the whole yumi bead soup, I really hope she'll like it. Cookie Points Up There...

     I love spending time outdoors with my little bugs... ...what I don't love is seeing all the garbage people leave behind sometimes. As I'm walking my dogs I can't help noticing plastic bags, candy wrappers, an empty soda can... Pick it up! says a voice in my head... No way, gross! Why should I pick up somebody else's garbage?!     An old book from an antique store in Wisconsin, loved the cover.. .If it looked like this, I'd be garbage hunting all day. But it doesn't... I remember when Mikey and I used to go fishing and I used to pick up the empty beer cans, the fishing line and whatever else was left behind by other fishermen. It really bothers me. I can't enjoy nature with all that stuff lying around. And something else... Cookie points, remember? A friend of mine loves birds. He talks to them and always has a cracker or some seeds for them...  Last month, my talented friend Solange from  YeeLeN SpiRiT DeSiGnS  hosted this awesome giveaway and guess what: I won ! :) First time when I had actually won a giveaway, imagine my surprise and excitement. Look at this little treasure she sent, all these beautiful colors and textures make me so happy. And those African beads look ancient, love them!
