Poetry. Color. Shape. Art

Lovely little poem, supplies, new earrings, quotes I heart.

A JEWELRY STORE NAMED INDIA

If you hold this
Dazzling emerald
Up to the sky,

It will shine a billion
Beautiful miracles

Painted from the tears
Of the Most High.

Plucked from the lush gardens
Of a yellowish-green paradise,

Look inside this hypnotic gem

And a kaleidoscope of
 Titillating,
Soul-raising
Sights and colors

Will tease and seduce
Your eyes and mind.

Tell me, sir.
Have you ever heard
A peacock sing?

Hold your ear
To this mystical stone

And you will hear

Sacred hymns flowing
To the vibrations
Of the perfumed
Wind.”

Blogger is acting up again. I can't seem to get these pictures to align with the text the way I want to ~ and I've been trying for two hours now ~ any tips, anyone? How do you make your blogs look so neat and organised, text right next to pictures and all...mine doesn't want to listen at all! Anyway, I made these earrings...

“Our universe grants every soul a twin, a reflection of themselvesthe kindred spirit . And no matter where they are or how far away they are from each other- even if they are in different dimensions, they will always find one another. This is destiny; this is love.”
― Julie Dillon

Asymmetrical earrings are so much more interesting and captivating than the normal, symmetrical ones, IMHO. They're intriguing, daring and demand attention. Making them is like finding puzzle pieces that match and putting them together until you get a picture that pleases the eye and leaves your inner critic speechless...for a few moments. Until you start making something else.
